Metalloids are those elements which show the properties of both metals and non-metals.Elements such as boron,silicon germanium,arsenic,antimony belong to this group.These form compounds which have giant molecules.They exist in solid state at ordinary temperatures.Melting points and boiling points are generally high.They show low electrical conductivity.
